🌟 Adobe Acrobat Not Responding Windows 10

Pleasetry to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here Of25 users here with Acrobat Pro I have six that started having an issue with Adobe Acrobat Pro "Not Responding" frequently and lasting from 30 seconds to several minutes at a time. (Monday) and there were no Acrobat updates, no Windows updates, no firewall (ie: web filtering, firewall rules, etc) changes here prior to this issue Iam running Creative Cloud along with the full version of Acrobat DC. Up until recently all this worked well on this Windows 10 machine. Now, more often than not, when opening a PDF or working with a PDF (editing, form making, optimizing, etc.) I will get a (Not Responding) prompt in the title bar. It seems fairly random and can happen IfI try opening the app, it tries to load, but get a Not Responding message. If I try to read a PDF attachment or print a file as PDF, I get errors that Acrobat is not connected and to try again after starting Acrobat. This is happening on a couple machines after the most recent Windows 10 update. Afterstarting Acrobat (whether with or without opening a Document) it would run for around 15 seconds apparently normally. It would then hang / freeze / crash. If I tried to click on anything more than a few times then Windows would report that Acrobat is "Not Responding". It would recover on its own within around another 15 seconds. Thetrick is, after a reboot or power on (not from sleep/standby), do not open any other program: Right click on Acrobat 8.1 and select the 'Run as Administrator' (not the compatibility mode, 'Run this program as administrator', leave this unticked.). In fact make sure nothing is selected for compatibility mode. 3 If step 2 doesn't work, repair Acrobat installation - go to Help > click Repair Installation, reboot the machine after repair and check. Could you let us know Acrobat version installed on the machine: Identify the product and its Inresponse to Amal's advice about using the Acro Cleaner Tool: the web page he directs us to states that "T he tool cannot be used with any Creative - 12804703 - 2. Ive included a few screenshots this time of some of the issues I described in the original post. Screenshot 1 - "Internal error" message shows the moment the cursor hovers over "View" and several parts of the UI. Screenshot 2 - I was able to create a PDF file from MS Word using Acrobat, so this still worked. Itappears to happen completely at random on the Windows 11 machines here -- not on the Windows 10 machines. And only when the pdfs are opened in Acrobat. The main problem is that Acrobat continues to be Not Responding for easily 30sec every time I open a pdf, edit or in any way alter the pdf (eg, Preflight fix). Wewill change the compatibility settings and check if this fixes anything. Press Windows + E to launch the Windows Explorer on your computer and navigate to the following location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader. Right-click on the Adobe executable ( some other file name depending on version) Howto Fix - [Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Not Responding] Windows 10.
